Parkour is a method of physical training that develops one’s ability to overcome obstacles (both physical and mental). It involves movement that will help if one is in a reach or escape emergency situation. Underpinning this is a philosophy  of altruism and useful strength, longevity, self-improvement and self-understanding. “Parkour is: a method of physical training, which allows us to overcome obstacles in urban and natural environments.” – David Belle  “Parkour is a way for our bodies to face and move in and around obstacles in our environment … It’s about tackling fears because obstacles don’t always appear as we imagine, and it’s also about attaining self-knowledge.” Parkour embodies a “You vs. Yourself” mentality which allows students to participate without stress of comparing with peers. It encourages creativity, which evokes curiosity and critical thinking habits. At our school, we construct new obstacles and stations each day, always entertaining the mind and allowing our students to form their own path. When first beginning, students learn the basics of balance and coordination. As a whole-body physical discipline, they develop strength and an understanding of their limitations.



Parkour is an amazing activity for anyone who struggles with coordination, body awareness, self-confidence, spatial awareness, and participation in traditional sports and activities. Parkour combines fundamental movements so that the participant can fall safely, move through varying environments successfully, maneuver different obstacles easily, and transfer these skills to every other area of their life.

About Us

Naro Parkour Academy is a progressive movement discipline designed for everyone from the

which teaches the traditional gymnastics skills of balance, strength and coordination while

also promoting creative movement as a way of life. Our academy teaches your kids to Build

confidence! Encourage a healthy lifestyle! Build work ethic and discipline! Our gym offers a

a safe environment where you can learn everything from the basics of parkour to the

advanced maneuvers and tricks of Parkour. We will be focused on  Students form camaraderie

as they bond over experiences of failure and success, encouraging each other to try again or

providing positive feedback. As a parkour academy , we are here to help guide them move forward

yet allow them room to think for themselves. This framework inspires confidence and heightens self-

esteem which stem into everyday decisions. Parkour becomes more than just a beautiful and

rewarding activity, it becomes a way of life. We also offer  private lessons and classes for children

with different and special needs. Classes are seasonal with each session lasting 2-8 weeks.

Students move through the program alongside their parents before joining our transition class. Upon

completion of our transition class, students can choose to stay or move into one of our general

weekday programs. Each class is taught by certified WFPF Parkour Athlete.
